- Non-profit Builders in Delaware - Rebates go directly to the Builders

- BUYERS - All Buyers of NEW CONSTRUCTION or TO-BE-BUILT homes may ask their builder to apply for this rebate program on their behalf.
How Much Can You Get?
There are three certifications programs that are eligible for the rebate.
How Do I Participate?
It's as easy as 1 - 2 - 3...
For Home Buyers: (for more info, click here)
Step #1 - Execute a contract to purchase a newly built home or a to-be-built home from an approved builder in Delaware with an upgrade to one of the approved program level certification packages.
Step #2 - Provide the builder with a non-contingent Mortgage Commitment from a lender or proof of sufficient funds to purchase the home under contract.
Step #3 - Go to settlement and get the rebate direct deposited into your account for the amount matching the certification level of the home.

Step #1 - Research and select the certification program to participate in.
Step #2 - Apply with the DE Green for Green Program to become a participating Builder.
Register eligible quick delivery homes so Home buyers can search the inventory.
Submit a Rebate Request on behalf of your home buyers once a contract is signed.
Step #3 - Schedule the required certification inspections. Coordinate the certification process with the program administrator who will finalize the release of funds from the state on the buyer's behalf.
** Funds are limited and reserved on a first come-first served basis, based on the release of conditions as outlined in the guidelines of the program. These funds are considered taxable income according to the IRS. Please consult your tax professional for guidance. 1099's will be issued.
